Why does it take so long to be granted access to the Citizen Portal?

Every new person/user that signs up on the Citizen Portal needs to be manually verified to ensure the individual requesting access is who they say they are. Requests are handled as soon as possible during regular North Fork Rancheria business hours. So, if a new user signs up at 5:01 pm on Friday, there is a good chance the approval request will be answered no earlier than the following Monday at 8:00am. We thank you for your patience during the approval process.

When I try to login to the Citizen Portal, it says I have been denied access. Why am I seeing this?

If you signed up on the Citizen Portal before September 24, 2020 but your account was never verified and access was not granted, then your Citizen Portal account may have been automatically locked until verification can be completed. Some accounts did not migrate fully to the new website so some users may be experiencing issues with their account for this reason. How do I reset my password?

To reset your password, visit and click on “Forgot Password“. You will be asked to provide an email. This email needs to be the one you signed up on the Citizen Portal with. If you do not receive a password reset email, please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still do not receive the password reset email, you can:

  • Try another email¬† that you may have used to sign up on the Citizen Portal
  • Try Forgot Password again doubling checking your spelling
  • Contact us using the form below. We’ll be happy to help.

If you receive the password reset email, please follow the instructions on how to reset your password.

Can anyone sign up on the Citizen Portal?

No. The Citizen Portal is only available to North Fork Rancheria Tribal Citizens over the age of 18. To ensure that only Tribal Citizens have access, we take extra care during the approval process. We appreciate your patience while waiting for approval. Maintaining data integrity is one of our highest priorities as well as making sure all Tribal Citizens in good standing have access.

How do I register on the Citizen Portal?

To register on the Citizen Portal, visit and fill out the registration form. Once you have submitted the form, you will need to wait for approval before logging in. We will contact you via the email you provided if we need any further information for the verification process. If we are unable to approve your access and we do not receive a response to our email requesting additional information, then your account will be locked until verification can be completed.

If I sign up for the Newsletter, will I have access to the Citizen Portal?

The Newsletter sign up form, found on the footer of each page on the website, is for an informational newsletter and not registration for the Citizen Portal. To register for the Citizen Portal please visit
