Choosing appropriate child care is one of the most important decisions parents will face and not one to be taken lightly. There are many factors that go into finding the right person or facility to trust when taking care of our little ones. The North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians cares deeply about the well being and development of its youngest citizens. To ensure a happy and healthy environment, the North Fork Rancheria is committed to providing quality child care services to its citizens.

Child care subsidies are available for children 12 years of age and under. Eligibility is contingent on family size and income. The following types of care are as follows:

Center-based facilities
Family-home
In-home
In-home or family-home services providers MUST be a trusted relative and have valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification. If they are not First Aid/CPR/AED certified, The North Fork Rancheria will offer financial help for these classes or to become re-certified.

Pre-qualifying inspections will be performed prior to application approval and child care provider inspections will be completed every 3 month to ensure that all facilities meet State and Federal regulations.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, approval dependent on funding availability.
